Causes of wiper motor failure

What is a wiper motor? The wiper motor is the core of the wiper system, which provides power for the wiper. Therefore, the wiper motor is very important. The failures of wiper motors are mainly divided into four categories:

     1. Excessive vibration of the whole machine

     The main reason is that the rotor is unbalanced, and there are other reasons such as misalignment of the shafting, component feeding, and rolling shaft failure.

     2. Excessive electromagnetic vibration

     Vibration is reflected in the cogging wave and its harmonic components.

     3. Abnormal sound of bearing

     The reason is the failure of the rolling shaft, one is the wear failure, and the other is the surface damage failure of the original bearing.

     4. Abnormal sound of worm gear

     The reason is that the worm gear is damaged, which changes the vibration frequency and causes abnormal noise.
